My name is Tarliena Francis and I am a Christian romance writer.
Wow! It sounds great to say that out loud!
I was ten years old when I wrote my first manuscript. I considered self-publishing then, but listened to sound advise to put that work away and create another :). Over the next fifteen years, I completed five manuscripts and had countless other pieces in various stages of progress.
Then I graduated college and took a job at a non-profit. I got married, had four kids, and writing romance novels took a backseat to my very busy, very full life. My passion for romance writing, though, never wavered.
Now, fifteen years later, I’ve decided that this year, 2018, is the year that I would finish and publish my first romance novel.
Yes, it’s already July and there are only 6 months left in this year. I’ve got my work cut out for me. But, I am ready for the challenge. Thank you for keeping me company as I set out on this journey to fulfill my childhood dream, and live in my sweet spot.
